Why can working outside ProjeKurdu on an advance be unsafe?

You may agree with the project owner to take a proportion of the project price as an advance, with the balance paid on delivery. As with any freelance project, however, you then carry the risk of not receiving the remainder when you deliver. On ProjeKurdu, by contrast, you define each stage of your project and are paid as you deliver the work. That way you work safely and comfortably while increasing your earnings on the website and building your portfolio.

Before a freelancer decides to work on a project, they look at the positive and negative reviews of the project owner. A project owner's past projects matter a great deal to other freelancers assessing the project offers in front of them. Taking the average of the proposals as a baseline and setting your own price below it may look like an advantage at first. What matters, however, is that you set your price according to the quality of your work. In the end the project owner will assess your proposal against the quality they expect and their budget.

What happens if I don't enter a proposal amount?

Do not enter zero (0) as the proposal amount for a project whose content you cannot follow. It can be misleading and may create a trust problem for the project owner. Instead, get in touch with the project owner and ask questions about the project to clear up anything you are unsure of.

Can I correct a numerical mistake in my proposal amount?

On projects run through the Secure Project Platform the proposal amount you give is very important and binding, because it determines the money you will receive. You can change the proposal amount until your proposal is accepted and the project closes. Once your proposal has been accepted and the project has started, the process continues with the amount you gave and cannot be changed.
